Red-Hot Castro Cools Off Baltimore
Saturday, May 1st , 1976
Francisco Castro was in a mood to talk following the Houston Drillers contest against the Baltimore Lords, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Lords, 4-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Castro said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Baltimore on a 1-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 4 strikeouts.
