Knight's Season Could be Over Wednesday, May 5th , 1976 Houston starting pitcher Dick Knight suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Emeralds. According to club doctors Knight has a torn ligament in his elbow. Although Knight has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs.
