Rehab Road Tough for Northmen David Davalos
Saturday, May 8th , 1976
Yesterday Twin Cities first baseman David Davalos sustained a setback in his recovery from a strained quad. The Northmen medical staff told him it would be at least 2-3 weeks before he will be able to return to action. Davalos told reporters, "The healing process has gone extremely well. This is just a little hiccup and a little setback." Apparently Davalos worked a little too hard in a recent workout and caused more damage. His doctors have advised him to do only light exercise and give the injury time to heal.

Currently Davalos is batting .261 with no home runs and 3 RBIs.
