Diego Favela Signs $3,390,000 Deal with Seattle Monday, February 5th , 1968 When Diego Favela arrived in Seattle today to greet the media of his new home, nobody questioned the move despite his 34 years. Favela signed a $847,500-a-year deal that will run for 4 years. He is generally seen as a veteran presence in the clubhouse and could act as a mentor for many of the younger Emeralds players. Thus far in his career, Favela has worked 3198.1 innings with 2065 strikeouts en route to a 180-146 record. The 34-year-old also has a 3.34 ERA. |
