Myers Holds Baltimore Scoreless Monday, April 29th , 1963 The Baltimore Lords struggled at the plate today against Seagulls hurler Mike Myers, who shackled them on 3 hits while hurling a complete game 7-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Lords skipper Jordan Wells in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Myers finished the game with 7 strikeouts and 3 walks in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," San Francisco manager Al Borie said. "Mike made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."
