Myers Holds Baltimore Scoreless
Monday, April 29th , 1963
The Baltimore Lords struggled at the plate today against Seagulls hurler Mike Myers, who shackled them on 3 hits while hurling a complete game 7-0 shutout.

"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Lords skipper Jordan Wells in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow."

Myers finished the game with 7 strikeouts and 3 walks in an excellent mound performance.

"He pitched real well," San Francisco manager Al Borie said. "Mike made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."

Thus far this season Myers has posted a 5-0 record, started 5 games, struck out 21 batters in 44 innings and compiled a 1.02 ERA.
