Kansas City, St. Louis Make Deal Monday, February 7th , 1977 In a move that has left many fans wondering, the Kansas City Bulls have traded a 5th round draft pick to the St. Louis Explorers. In return, the Bulls receive 33-year old 2B Fernando Martinez. St. Louis will retain a portion of Martinez's remaining contract. Martinez has a career .273 batting average with a .318 OBP. He has hit 49 homers, driven in 427 runs and scored 411 runs since he came into the league. |
