Pittsburgh, St. Louis Confirm Trade

Acknowledging that it may not be the biggest splash, the Industrials announced today that they have acquired 28-year old RHP Harlan Estes and 29-year old RHP Marty Clark from the St. Louis Explorers in exchange for 23-year old RHP Bob Rivers, 25-year old C Johnny Witte, and a 2nd round draft pick. "Every little bit helps," announced the Industrials, "this deal should improve both squads."
St. Louis will retain a portion of Estes's remaining contract. St. Louis will retain a portion of Clark's remaining contract.
To date in his career, Estes has pitched in 171 games, piling up 8 saves with 350 Ks in 564.1 innings. He has a record of 25-34 and a 4.19 ERA.
