The Baseball News Network is reporting that the Quakers and Wolverines have consummated a trade. Detroit will receive 29-year old 3B Joe Voss in a swap for a 1st round draft pick. A league analyst called the trade a "fairly even transaction."

Philadelphia will retain a portion of Voss's remaining contract.

Over his career Voss is batting .267 with 283 doubles, 104 triples, 99 home runs, 522 RBIs and scored 905 runs in 1437 games.
