Injury Worsens, Return Delayed for Emeralds Link Sunday, April 6th , 1975 Yesterday Seattle catcher Al Link sustained a setback in his recovery from a sprained wrist. The Emeralds medical staff told him it would be at least 1-2 weeks before he will be able to return to action. Link told reporters, "The healing process has gone extremely well. This is just a little hiccup and a little setback." Apparently Link worked a little too hard in a recent workout and caused more damage. His doctors have advised him to do only light exercise and give the injury time to heal. |
