Gamboa Suffers Injury While Moving Monday, April 4th , 1977 Los Angeles shortstop Jose Gamboa was injured yesterday while moving furniture into his new home. Gamboa reportedly suffered a partially torn labrum and is expected to be out of commission for up to 2 months. According to team officials, the injury will likely force him to miss the start of spring training. |
