Cardenas Silences Pittsburgh, 2-0 Saturday, April 12th , 1975 Bruce Cardenas was dynamite at Allegheny Field, blowing away the Pittsburgh Industrials in a shutout victory. The St. Louis Explorers starter had everything working as he held the Industrials to 2 hits in the 2-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Pittsburgh skipper Vincent Wicker.
