Red-Hot Gannon Cools Off Kansas City
Sunday, April 13th , 1975
It was not a good day at the plate for the Kansas City Bulls. They came up empty when it mattered against Milwaukee Dairymen right-hander John Gannon, who scattered 8 hits across 9 innings and held the Bulls scoreless.
"We had 8 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Kansas City manager DD Martin said later.
Gannon chalked up 13 strikeouts and no walks in the 5-0 Dairymen win.
