NBL Awards Player of the Week Monday, April 14th , 1975 When it came to hitting the baseball, Steve Wright was in a class by himself in the National Baseball League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding second baseman for New York tagged opposing pitchers for a .519 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 14 hits in 27 at-bats, 2 homers, 5 runs scored and 6 RBIs. |
