Fonseca Dominates Cleveland
Thursday, April 24th , 1975
Alex Fonseca was in a mood to talk following the Washington Eagles contest against the Cleveland Bobcats, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Bobcats, 2-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Fonseca said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The left-hander blanked Cleveland on a 3-hitter, allowing 3 walks and racking up 4 strikeouts.
