Seagulls Patrick No-Hits Wranglers
Friday, April 15th , 1977
It was a fantastic day for San Francisco Seagulls starter Jerry Patrick and a lousy day for the Dallas Wranglers.
The San Francisco hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Wranglers, as the Seagulls cruised to a 2-0 win. When it was all over, Patrick was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter.
"The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Patrick said later.
He rang up 5 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk while shutting Dallas down at Mission Field.
