San Diego Shortstop April's Premier Rookie Thursday, May 1st , 1975 Reid Rodgers's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young San Diego shortstop has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In April he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .389 with 6 doubles, no triples and 2 home runs. Rodgers also scored 7 times and drove in 11 runs. |
