Players-Only Meeting 'Didn't Work': Whitaker Saturday, May 3rd , 1975 Paul Whitaker of the Twin Cities Northmen said a recent players-only meeting held by Ben Hall "didn't work" and may have been more of a distraction than anything. "We know we're not playing good baseball right now, we don't need to hear it from one of the players," he said. "I know Hall means well, but I think there are probably some guys who are more upset now than they were before we had that meeting." |
