They came up empty when it mattered against Boston Terriers right-hander Bruce Owen, who scattered 4 hits across 9 innings and held the Northmen scoreless. "We had 4 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Twin Cities manager Jason Gudim said later. Owen chalked up 4 strikeouts and 3 walks in the 2-0 Terriers win.
