3 Roundtrippers for McLemore Thursday, May 5th , 1977 Kansas City Bulls left fielder Haskell McLemore had a magnificent game against the Pittsburgh Industrials, rocketing three balls out of Allegheny Field to help the Bulls win, 14-7. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, McLemore went 4-for-5 with 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Kansas City manager DD Martin said later. "Seems like Haskell found his home run stroke today." Haskell McLemore hit a solo-shot off Dennis Visco in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Dennis Visco in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Dennis Visco in the 4th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
