Los Angeles Left Fielder Hurt Friday, May 9th , 1975 Ernie Ronnebaum of the Los Angeles Blockbusters was injured in today's game against St. Louis and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a strained muscle in his back, and he is expected to be out for up to 4 weeks. It happened while Ronnebaum was running the bases. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Currently Ronnebaum is hitting .351 and has collected 6 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 22 times, while playing in 27 games. |
