Montreal Downs Atlanta as Schar Tosses 3-0 Shutout Sunday, May 29th , 1977 Bob Schar kept the Atlanta Generals hitters from doing much damage at Atlantic Station Field. Atlanta could only muster 6 hits and draw 1 walk against the left-handed Schar, who controlled them throughout the game. Montreal won the contest, 3-0. Schar added 5 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Schar told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." This season to date, Schar has a record of 4 wins and 3 losses with a 2.47 ERA, has appeared in 11 games and struck out 34 in 73 innings.
