Hartman Shuts Out Milwaukee, 7-0
Saturday, May 31st , 1975
Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Milwaukee Dairymen as starter Mel Hartman shut them out, 7-0, at Quakers Stadium. The Philadelphia pitcher struck out 5 and walked 1 while allowing 3 hits.

"Hartman was good but he wasn't flawless," Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Philadelphia, but this is on us."

So far this season, Hartman has a record of 2-5 with 32 strikeouts and 29 walks in 71.1 innings and a 4.29 ERA.
