Season May Be Over for Seagulls Silver Sunday, May 30th , 1976 Doctors in San Francisco said Mike Silver might not play anymore this year. The Seagulls reliever suffered a ruptured elbow ligament during a game against the Houston Drillers and will be out for at least 13-14 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. For the season, Silver is 2-and-1 with 2 saves and a 2.66 ERA. He has given up 17 hits in 20.1 innings with 11 strikeouts. |
