The Chicago Traders posted a 8-0 shutout over the Washington Rough Riders today on the strength of a strong performance by Bill Farr. The Traders pitcher held the Rough Riders to 9 hits while walking 3 and fanning 5 in the route-going win.
"It feels good to be wearing a Chicago Traders uniform today," the right-hander said following the game.
This year Farr has compiled a 8-8 record with a 3.58 ERA.
