ABL Player of the Week, Luna of Toronto Monday, June 7th , 1976 It was an extraordinary week for Jorge Luna of the Toronto Hurons. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .556, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American Baseball League. Last week Luna went 10-for-18, racked up 1 home run and 4 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Toronto center fielder.
