Cincinnati Loses Stan Timmons, Will Miss Season Sunday, June 13th , 1976 The Cincinnati Packers were dealt a blow today when first baseman Stan Timmons left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Timmons has suffered a broken kneecap and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. Thus far in 1976, Timmons is hitting .273 with 6 home runs, 31 RBIs, 45 runs scored and has compiled a .351 OBP. |
