May's Best Rookie Named by ABL Sunday, June 1st , 1975 Dave Browning earned May's Rookie of the Month honors in the American Baseball League for last month's performance. The boyish Toronto third baseman might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Browning hit .369 with 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 16 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. So far this year, Browning is batting .355 with 1 home run. |
