Precourt Keeps Hit Streak Alive Sunday, June 1st , 1975 Traders center fielder Fran Precourt has extended his hitting streak to 30 games. He went 2-for-4 in today's game against the St. Louis Explorers. Chicago won the ballgame, 4-3. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Fran Precourt singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. This season, Precourt has 2 home runs and a .320 batting average. |
