Trouble in Philadelphia, Linden Suffers Setback
Saturday, June 7th , 1975
Things have gotten worse for John Linden of the Philadelphia Quakers. The 25-year-old right fielder will not be back as soon as originally expected. Linden is undergoing treatment for a strained abdominal muscle, but his doctors have expanded his recovery time to at least one week. An unidentified team official told BNN, "John tried to rush his rehab and suffered a setback."

In his season totals, Linden has no home runs, .176 BA, .263 OBP, 3 RBIs and 6 runs scored. He has played in 42 games.
