Freeland Baffles Brooklyn Batters

Philadelphia Quakers left-hander Bob Freeland used his full arsenal to shoot down the Brooklyn Bluebirds, 4-0. All day long, he exhibited fine command of all his pitches, giving up 2 walks and striking out 5. Freeland allowed 5 hits in the victory.
"It felt like my catcher and I were on the same page all day, and Brooklyn was on a way, way different page," Freeland said.
