Week's Best Player Honored by NBL Monday, June 9th , 1975 Not every ball that came off Rob Isenbarger's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Pittsburgh Industrials. For his exploits, Isenbarger was named this week's National Baseball League Player of the Week award. The Pittsburgh second baseman put up 14 hits in 30 at-bats and 1 home run while hitting .467 with 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far this year, Isenbarger is batting .313 with 5 home runs, 31 RBIs and 43 runs scored. |
