Rehab Setback for Rick Lintner Tuesday, June 10th , 1975 New York Empires third baseman Rick Lintner informed reporters that he will be missing additional time because of a setback in his recovery from back soreness. "It's a bit frustrating, sure," Lintner admitted. "I want to be out on the field. At the same time, I don't want to make things worse and miss even more time because I'm pushing it too hard." Empires doctors told BNN Lintner would not return for 2 weeks. At the moment, Lintner is hitting .303 with 11 home runs and 27 RBIs. He has played in 45 games and scored 29 times. |
