Adams Breezes to Shutout Victory
Wednesday, August 2nd , 1967
Magic was in the air and on the mound at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium today as Randy Adams held the Cleveland Bobcats spellbound in his 11-0 shutout victory. The Milwaukee Dairymen pitcher went the distance, rang up 6 strikeouts, walked 3 and held the Bobcats to 5 hits to garner the win.

"He just had us in his thrall," Cleveland manager Daniel Mays said later. "We couldn't put anything together against him."

In 23 starts this season Adams has notched a 13-5 record and a 2.71 ERA.
