League Gets Last Word, Suspends Knight 2 Games Thursday, June 19th , 1975 The commissioner's office today notified Boston that catcher Paul Knight had been given a 2-game suspension for inappropriate actions in the recent Terriers-Emeralds game at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. Knight create a ruckus after being ejected for arguing a third strike call. Currently Knight is batting .208 with 40 hits and 6 home runs. He has knocked in 34 runs and scored 16 times. |
