Bad News for Los Angeles, Manuel Castillo Hurt Wednesday, July 14th , 1976 Manuel Castillo had to leave the Pobladores game against Boston after suffering a strained abdominal muscle while running the bases. He will be out of the lineup at least 6 weeks. He told reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong." Castillo is currently hitting at a .267 pace with 9 home runs and 32 RBIs. |
