Wranglers Advance to World Series
Tuesday, October 15th, 1957
Fans of the New York Knickerbockers groaned when Frank Price stepped up to the plate in the League Championship Series.

And for good reason too, as the Dallas Wranglers player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-2 series win over the Knickerbockers.

The series was clinched tonight at Knickerbocker Stadium, with Dallas coming out on top 9-5 in the deciding game.

Price's strong series included a .360 batting average, with a .385 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Dallas Wranglers will play against the Los Angeles Pobladores in the next round. Los Angeles won their series against the Toronto Hurons 4 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
