Drillers, Emeralds Swap Players Saturday, July 31st , 1976 It's being reported in the Houston press that the Drillers have traded 25-year old 3B Paul Parkyn, a 1st round draft pick, and a 4th round draft pick to the Seattle Emeralds for 28-year old 3B Charlie Hall. However, there is no confirmation by the two ball clubs. Parkyn's current batting average stands at .272 and he has chalked up 2 home runs and 39 RBIs. This season, Hall is batting .309 with 11 home runs. His totals include 36 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
