Cincinnati Left Fielder Nets NBL Award Monday, June 24th , 1974 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Cincinnati's Glenn Palmer put up last week were the envy of the league, as Palmer came away with National Baseball League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 10 hits in 17 at-bats, 1 home run and 4 RBIs last week as he posted his .588 batting average. So far this year, Palmer has 7 home runs and a .288 batting average. |
