Chicago's Ronnebaum Out 6 Weeks Sunday, August 8th , 1976 The injury bug struck Ernie Ronnebaum of the Hawks in today's game against the Pobladores. The 31-year-old left fielder was hurt while running the bases and will miss 6 weeks with a torn leg muscle. So far this season, Ronnebaum is batting .271 with 13 home runs. |
