Visco Earns NBL's Best Pitcher Honor Monday, July 1st , 1974 The National Baseball League announced today that Dennis Visco has been chosen the league's Pitcher of the Month. The Pittsburgh starter had everything working for him last month as he glided to a 5-1 record. In June Visco chalked up a 1.71 ERA in 52.2 innings with 32 strikeouts and 11 walks. This year, Visco has made 15 starts, thrown 112.2 innings, fanned 67 batters and walked 30. His won-lost record is 8-5 with a 2.80 ERA. |
