San Diego's Pike to Miss Season Tuesday, August 10th , 1976 Doctors in San Diego said Mark Pike might not play anymore this year. The Captains starting pitcher suffered entrapment of a nerve in his arm during a game against the Denver Burros and will be out for at least 4 months.
