More Woes for Empires Jack Pratt Monday, August 16th , 1976 Jack Pratt's return to the New York Empires has been delayed. The 25-year-old closer has been in treatment for hamstring strain and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. Upon examination by team doctors they reported that there had been further damage and Pratt will not be back as originally diagnosed. He will now be out at least one week. To date, his season stats show Pratt has 13 saves with a 9-5 mark and 3.17 ERA. |
