Cincinnati could only muster 4 hits and draw 1 walk against the right-handed Teckenbrock, who controlled them throughout the game. Brooklyn won the contest, 5-0. Teckenbrock added 5 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Teckenbrock told reporters after the shutout win.
