Denver Comes up Empty Against Crawford

Skip Crawford hurled nothing but zeros at the Denver Burros in an impressive outing at Union Field. The Chicago pitcher allowed 2 hits, fanned 7, and walked 0 in blanking Denver, 9-0.
"There were a lot of frustrated guys walking back to the dugout," Denver manager Clark Anderson said. "Not a fun day."
So far this season, Crawford has logged a 14-14 record with a 2.53 ERA. He has started 31 games, hurled 248.2 innings and registered 128 strikeouts and 69 walks.
