Trout Shines, Shuts Out San Diego, 1-0

Bob Trout had an impressive outing at Corps of Discovery Stadium, hurling the St. Louis Explorers to a 1-0 shutout victory over the San Diego Captains.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," San Diego skipper Joe Mack said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
