Dan Turner was dynamite at Queens Field, blowing away the New York Empires in a shutout victory. The Los Angeles Pobladores starter had everything working as he held the Empires to 3 hits in the 10-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said New York skipper Dan Whiting. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
