Setback for Drillers and Mike Lockhart Saturday, September 4th , 1976 Houston Drillers first baseman Mike Lockhart will now miss more time after sustaining a setback in his recovery from a strained abdominal muscle. The setback is believed to be minor, but the timetable for his return has been pushed back an additional one week. For the season, Lockhart is hitting at a .313 clip with 14 home runs, 60 RBIs and has scored 79 runs. He has 127 hits, 59 walks and a .398 on-base percentage. |
