Baird Leads Cleveland to 2-0 Win Over Pittsburgh
Sunday, July 28th , 1974
It was not a good day at the plate for the Pittsburgh Industrials. They came up empty when it mattered against Cleveland Bobcats right-hander Myron Baird, who scattered 3 hits across 9 innings and held the Industrials scoreless.
"We had 3 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Pittsburgh manager Vincent Wicker said later.
Baird chalked up 2 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 2-0 Bobcats win.
Currently Baird has a record of 10-7 with 103 strikeouts and 31 walks in 161.1 innings and a 3.85 ERA.
