Red-Hot Frampton Cools Off Boston
Monday, July 29th , 1974
New York's Nate Frampton brought his best stuff to Atlantic Avenue Grounds, shutting down and shutting out the Boston Terriers, 1-0. He racked up 5 strikeouts, surrendered 7 hits, and issued 1 walk on his way to the victory.
"We barely made him work at all," Boston manager David Molina said later. "New York could probably pitch him again tomorrow if they wanted."
