Red-Hot Frampton Cools Off Boston Monday, July 29th , 1974 New York's Nate Frampton brought his best stuff to Atlantic Avenue Grounds, shutting down and shutting out the Boston Terriers, 1-0. He racked up 5 strikeouts, surrendered 7 hits, and issued 1 walk on his way to the victory. "We barely made him work at all," Boston manager David Molina said later.
