Palacios and Generals Make Deal Friday, August 2nd , 1974 The Atlanta Generals have finished a deal with All Star-caliber second baseman Roberto Palacios that will extend his stay in Atlanta at least 4 years and will pay out $2,400,000. At present, Palacios is batting .242 and has collected 14 home runs, 47 RBIs, .322 OBP and scored 48 runs. |
